Dr. Sarath Ravi is a distinguished Vitreoretinal Surgeon with over 18 years of experience in the diagnosis and management of medical and surgical retinal disorders. He has trained and worked at some of India’s leading ophthalmic institutions, including the Regional Institute of Ophthalmology, Thiruvananthapuram, Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai, and Aravind Eye Hospital, Coimbatore.

He completed his MBBS from Trivandrum Medical College, followed by a Diploma in Ophthalmology (DO) and Master of Surgery (MS) in Ophthalmology from the Regional Institute of Ophthalmology, Thiruvananthapuram. He subsequently pursued advanced subspecialty training in Vitreoretinal Surgery at Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai.

His clinical expertise includes the management of retinal detachment, non-resolving vitreous haemorrhage, diabetic tractional retinal detachment, dislocated crystalline lenses and intraocular lenses, scleral-fixated intraocular lenses, epiretinal membranes, macular holes, ocular trauma with intraocular foreign bodies, and postoperative endophthalmitis. He is also experienced in the management of medical retinal disorders, retinal laser procedures, photodynamic therapy (PDT), and intravitreal injections.
